US President Donald Trump says three US Navy destroyers have passed through the Strait of Hormuz under fire, reporting no damage to American vessels.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump described the transit as successful despite incoming attacks.

Three destroyers and no damage? Seems like the Iranians are just firing warning shots or missing on purpose. Either way, this is a flex by the US Navy.
I find it hard to believe that three ships transited under fire without a single hit. Maybe the ‘fire’ was just some small boats shooting AKs.
Trump’s post on Truth Social is classic him—making it sound like a victory. But if there was real danger, why didn’t the Navy issue its own statement?
The Strait of Hormuz is a choke point; any transit under fire is risky. Glad our sailors are safe, but this shows how tense things are with Iran.
So the destroyers just ‘passed through’ while being shot at? No retaliation? That doesn’t sound like the US military I know.
