Pater Magyar was once part of Fidesz, so calling it a ‘clean break’ seems a bit rich. Let’s see if he actually dismantles Orban’s system or just rebrands it.
After all those years under Orban, it’s refreshing to hear a prime minister talk about a ‘new era’. I’m cautiously optimistic about Magyar’s first moves in office.
I’ll believe the ‘clean break’ when I see real policy changes. Orban’s cronies are still everywhere in government.
